November and December passed by like a blur. I took pictures and interviewed my son’s class but didn’t get a chance to sit down and put everything together until recently.
In November, my son’s class prepared pumpkin pies for their Thanksgiving feast. They measured and they mixed with simple DIY chef hats on. There were 4 stations and I walked around an took pictures of all the kids in various stages of pie making. I took so many pictures and the kids were so adorable that I decided to include more than one photo in the personal yearbooks. I created a three photo collage for each student. Here is Colin’s photo collage and his drawing.
I can always know where I am in Colin’s pictures because I am the only one in the family with black hair.
In December, Colin’s class made paper ornaments for their class Christmas tree. I took pictures of them putting their ornaments on the tree. I was deeply touched when I saw Colin’s ornament. His ornament was in the shape of a heart and he included all of us on the heart. His teachers said that he did it all on his own with no help.
I wish I could show you some of the other photos and the cute things that Colin’s classmates say. I love the personal yearbooks and am happy to do this for all the kids in Colin’s class.
