As a crafter, I love giving and receiving handmade gifts so I was signed up for the Silhouette Challenge Facebook Group’s handmade gift swap. I was paired with Ginger from Ginger Snap Crafts. She has an absolutely amazing blog. I sent her an e-mail with some questions about her likes, decorating style, etc so I could figure out what to make her. One fact she shared with me is that she loves to craft with her Silhouette and vinyl in particular.
One of my recent discoveries is the Sacramento font. I paired it with the Impact font for this text only t-shirt design. You can download my Silhouette Studio cut file here. This file is only for your PERSONAL USE.

- Ironing board
- cotton cloth
- white cotton shirt
1. Wash, dry and iron the shirt.
2. The text is already mirrored in the cut file.
Cut out “have silhouette” with the black vinyl. Cut out “WILL VINYL” in glitter pink vinyl. Remember to place the shiny side of the vinyl onto the mat. To cut them at separate times, just move the part you are not cutting off the mat.
3. Weed the vinyl by pulling off all the vinyl that is not part of the design on both pieces.
4. Place a piece of cardboard inside the shirt and below where the design will be placed.
5. Place the “have silhoutte” piece of vinyl on the shirt.
Place a piece of thin cotton fabric over the clear adhesive and iron per the directions for the vinyl. Peel off the adhesive sheet carefully.
6. Repeat step 5 with the “WILL VINYL” piece of vinyl.
I love how the glitter sparkles in the sun!
Ginger’s shirt was all ready for mailing!
Are you wondering what Ginger made for me? She asked me for two photos of my family that she could crop square. I sent her two photos and she sent me this glass tile pendant and this glass tile key chain! I love both items and my kids immediately tried to divide them up and take my new gifts! You can read about how she made these in Ginger’s post.
Ginger also went above and beyond and sent me these goodies along with a note for me to enjoy my summer.
I told you she is awesome!
