Fall Felt Flowers

My 4 year old and I combined forces to create two of these vases full of felt flowers for her preschool teachers. My original goal was to create the Fall Felt Flower Centerpiece by Rachel from Lines Across My Face but in the end the centerpiece was too aggressive a goal for Kara. Displaying Art or Scrapbook Layouts

During the last school year I had two children in preschool who brought home art projects almost daily! You can imagine that our refrigerator was completely covered with their art. School Art/Craft Projects

Colin and Kara bring home the cutest preschool crafts! The table in my office was stacked full of their handiwork. I want to include these projects in my children’s school scrapbooks but don’t have time to create a layout for each individual item. What’s my solution? I take individual photos of each project and have them printed as 6×4 photos. Next I order the photos and insert them into We R Memory Keepers 12×12 3-Ring Photo Sleeves with 6×4 pockets. [more]

Last month I posted what Kara made me for Mother’s Day at school. My husband and I both loved it. I decided to do the same thing for him for Father’s Day. This afternoon, Kara and I sat down and I gave her a 10 inch x 10 inch piece of paper to draw Steve. Not only did she draw Steve but she drew herself as well! Kara wrote her name and “DAD” on the paper and added some stickers. [more]
