Father’s Day is in a week and I have an easy and inexpensive Father’s Day frame craft for the kids to make for dad or any loved one. My 4 year old Kara made this cute Father’s Day frame for my husband at school.
Supplies:
- a photo
- a foam frame
- puzzle pieces
- word strips
- adhesive
- magnet (optional)
Directions:
1. Adhere the photo to the backside of the foam frame.
2. Adhere puzzle pieces to the front of the foam frame.
3. Adhere the word strips over the puzzle pieces.
4. Let adhesive dry.
5. (optional) Add an adhesive magnet to the back of the foam frame.
My daughter use puzzle pieces straight from a box but you could cover the puzzle pieces with patterned paper or go hybrid by creating puzzle pieces using my puzzle templates. If you use a magnet this cute Father’s Day frame is ready to proudly display on your fridge! Later this week I will share what Kara is going to give my husband this year!
Super cute! And now I know what to do with all of those puzzles that are missing just too many pieces to be salvaged. Thanks for linking up at The Creative Spark!
Thank you Kristy. I could probably make 100 of these frames with all our puzzles that have missing pieces. My kids like to mix up all the puzzle pieces from different puzzles too!
Super fun and cute!! I love this puzzle frame! Pinning!
Thank you for the sweet comment and for stopping by!
Just wanted to let you know we added this to our father’s day round up (http://2crochethooks.com/11-kid-crafted-fathers-day-gifts/). Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for including this project in your roundup!
