A few months ago I shared how I put my children’s school art in their school scrapbooks. In a nutshell, I take a photo of each art and put the photos in divided page protectors. I was placing the art on my futon and photographing it there but I have found a better way! I also shared with you how I display my children’s art with a wire curtain rod from IKEA. This is how our wall looks today.
The wire curtain rod is wonderful for photographing the art to put in the scrapbooks. Using the futon I had problems with wider, taller or 3D art but these are easily photographed using the wire curtain rod as in the photos below.
Please note the clips used with the wire curtain rod can leave small indentations in the art. I still have all my children’s original art stored in my office but I love putting these photos in their school scrapbooks. It provides an easy and quick way to look at everything together.
