Day 4 of My Favorite Things is all about Project 365! Project 365 consists of taking one picture a day and preserving it in some form. These are the four complete Project 365 albums that I have completed.
On January 1, 2009, I started using Becky Higgin’s Project 365 Kit. There was crazy demand for that kit and I was extremely lucky to get one. This is one week from that book.
At the same time I wanted to start a separate Project 365 book for my newborn son in February, 2009. For my son’s book, I created my own Project 365 kit of paper and card stock from my stash. It was wonderful to use my stash and I created the weekly and journaling cards well in advance in batches.
When 2010 started, I decided to learn digital scrapbooking and go digital with my Project 365! I created PSD templates that I re-used all year long for a look of continuity.
You can see all my layouts for 2010 in this post. At the end of the year I had the layouts printed into a photo book. Here is 2 weeks worth of Project 365.
When 2011 came along I decided to stay digital again and created another new template.
I had the layouts from 2011 printed into a photo book as well!
2012 brought along another template design!
The thing I most love about Project 365 is that it tells our everyday stories. I look through my Project 365 books the most out of all my scrapbooks. It never fails that the memories of something funny my daughter said or the little toy that my son couldn’t live without comes flooding back to me!

The simple format and room for journaling makes this 365 project actually look manageable! I even think I could do this…pick me, so I can try it!! 🙂
Your templates are always so easy to use and makes getting my self organized and “scrapped” so much easier!
