Since I got my Samsung Galaxy SIII Android phone last fall, the majority of our photos have been taken by my phone. One of my favorite free apps for making photo collages is PhotoGrid.
The PhotoGrid app makes it easy to create photo collages. I used it to create this simple collage from 2 photos of me and my friends at the Color Me Rad 5K.
Here’s how to do it.
1. Open the app and tap on HD Grid.
2. Tap on the photo album to select photos from. I chose Camera.
3. Select which photos to include in the collage. Your selected photos appear at the bottom of the screen. If you change your mind about a photo just select the x above the photo to remove it from the selection. Tap the green arrow at the bottom right of the screen to continue.
4. The photo collage is automatically populated with the selected photos. If you want to change the collage, tap the middle option at the bottom of the screen. To save the photo, tap on the green arrow pointing down at the top right of the screen. Select the resolution for the photo and the collage will be saved to a PhotoGrid album in the gallery.
Here are a few other photo collages that I created using PhotoGrid to show you some of the other grid options for 2 photos. (PhotoGrid can make collages for more than two photos.)
PhotoGrid is also available for the iPhone. Checkout PhotoGrid for Android here and for iPhone here. Have fun creating your collages!
