It’s June and time to check in with my Project 365. About a month ago I went to work on my Project 365 layouts and discovered that I was 8 weeks behind! Did I take a photo everyday during those 8 weeks? Yes, BUT I didn’t have time to do my weekly layouts. As you know, a lot can be forgotten in 8 weeks. How did I go back and remember what was going on in all those pictures? Social media came to my rescue!
Most of the photos that were slated for Project 365 were ones that I had posted to Instagram or Facebook. All I had to do was pull up my Instagram photos in my browser by going to http://instagram.com/simplykellyd to see all my photos neatly displayed in reverse chronological order. I just clicked on the photo to copy and paste my caption into my Project 365 layout.
If you would like to see your Instagram photos in this format, just go to . You will need to login to if you have a private Instagram account.
Other photos that weren’t on Instagram were posted on my personal Facebook page. The Facebook timeline makes it easy to find a post. So what was I doing in March of 2013? To find out I went to my Facebook page (not my newsfeed) and scrolled down past my cover photo, a little bar pops up at the top of the page that says my name, Timeline and Now. I clicked on Now, selected 2013 and then March. Facebook then brought up all my posts from March. The red arrow is pointing at the options bar.
Using Facebook and Instagram made it easy for me to catch up on my Project 365 layouts. Here is a layout I finished just last week.
