My name is Kelly and I am addicted to chai tea lattes. We have a Tassimmo machine so I can make the single serve portions at home but every once in a while I go out to have a latte with a friend. A few weeks ago I took an Instagram photo while at Starbucks and inspiration struck.
The baristas wrote our names on our cups and that reminded me of names on gift tags.
Supplies:
- The supply list contains affiliate links.
- Silhouette Portrait
- Silhouette mat
- white cardstock
- patterned paper such as DCWV Christmas Stack or DCWV Christmas Glitter Stack
- kraft paper
- paper adhesive – Xyron 510 , Xyron Tape Runner or Tombow MONO Adhesive
- Sharpie fine tip pen
Instructions:
1. Download a file with the design (for personal use only):
- Silhouette Studio file (for use with the Silhouette Studio software)
- PDF file (added because of many requests)
2. Use the Silhouette Portrait, Mat and Studio software to cut out the different pieces. I used white to cut the container tops, craft paper to cut the container sleeves and patterned paper and glitter cardstock to cut out the containers. Each container is also backed with a container cut from white cardstock.
3. Apply adhesive to the cuts (except for the white cardstock container bases) and assemble them to create the containers. I used my Xyron 510 but you can use any paper adhesive.
4. Use a pen to write your to/from on the container sleeve. I used a Sharpie fine tip pen.

HI Kelly, I am like some of the others I don’t have a silhouette machine wish I did. Could I get a PDF file of the coffee cup tags? They are so cute. Making Christmas gifts for my granddaughters teachers. Thanks
thank you kelly for these great tags. I was wondering if you could make the coffee latt container for the cricut. I am willing to pay for it. It is a great design and I would love to make it but I only have a cricut and I can’t download the file
Thank you in advance
Maureen
Hi Maureen. I don’t have a Cricut so I can’t make the files for it. I am sure you can find something similar for Cricut.
Can you make a schedule file or a jpeg I am willing to pay you. Thank you
Hi Kelly
I do not have a Silhouette. I cut by hand until I can afford one. Is there any possible way to get these amazing cups in a PDF file? They are absolutely gorgeous and I want to make some so bad for gifts. Thanks. Take care
Thanks so much for this file. It’s very generous of you!
I can not download this file and have tried every which way I know. Can you help me? Thank you. Your design is adorable!
Hi Donna. I just downloaded the file. Are you having problems opening the file? The file can only be used with the Silhouette Studio software.
Hi, I have a silhouette and i have tried every possible way to download the file and it says it is not supported. Any suggestions?
Hi Kelly I love these coffee gift tags and would like to make them. Are you selling the file? I know this is an old post. I can not open the file to use on my computer. They are adorable
Hi Toni. This cut file is only for use with Silhouette Studio software. If I decide to offer it in a different format I will let you know.

Hello I’m unable to download the file….any suggestions?
I was just able to download the file. Keep in mind that this file can only be opened by the Silhouette Studio software for use with a Silhouette electronic die cutting machine.
I would love to know if this is ever done in another format as well. I don’t own a silhouette but love this gift tag. Please let me know if you ever do. Wonderful gift tag.
Donna
Thanks for the design! Love it!
This is quite simply the best tag I have come upon. Planning to get down to it this weekend. Thanks for the detailed step by step!
You are welcome! Enjoy!
Found this on pinterest & made my own on the silhouette yesterday. I had a great time making these with my daughter helping & gluing them together. We made the cup out of red sparkle paper and they are beautiful! This is a fantastic file. Thank you for generously sharing this with everyone!
You are welcome Rebecca! It makes my heart happy to hear that you spent time with your daughter to make these together.
These are so perfect! I got a Xyron machine a few months ago but have yet to use it….this makes me want to finally bust it out!

Hi Jessica. Unfortunately I only have them in the .studio format.
