Chocolate Cherry Cheesecake Mini Trifles

December 30, 2015 By Kelly 8 Comments

This recipe for chocolate cherry cheesecake mini trifles is sponsored by Cherry Man but all ideas and opinions are my own. Last month I attended the Create Make Celebrate Retreat hosted by Laura Kelly at her home in Colorado. There was a stock pile of Cherry Man maraschino cherries at her house and my crafty retreat friends created delicious smoothies, muffins and drinks with them. I was happy to create my own chocolate cherry cheesecake mini trifle recipe using those delicious cherries!

Create this easy and delicious chocolate cherry cheesecake mini trifle for dessert tonight!

All Cherry Man cherries are grown in Michigan and Oregon. You can buy them in stores locally or online.

Ingredients:

I used these ingredients to make 3 chocolate cherry cheesecake mini trifles.

  • Cherry Man maraschino cherries with stems
  • 2 cups of 2% milk
  • 3 squares of chocolate graham crackers
  • instant cheesecake flavored pudding and pie filling mix

Supplies:

  • rolling pin
  • quart sized sandwich bag
  • three 1.5 oz dessert glasses
  • wisk
  • small mixing bowl
  • liquid measuring cup
  • teaspoon measuring spoon
  • small knife

Directions:
1. Prepare cheesecake flavored pudding as directed on the package. I wisked 2 cups of cold milk with the cheesecake pudding mix for 2 minutes. This made a lot more pudding than what I needed for the trifles.

2. Place and seal the chocolate graham crackers in a quart sized sandwich bag. Use the rolling pin to crush the graham crackers into small pieces.

3. Layer the trifle as follows starting at the bottom:

  • 1 teaspoon of graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of cheesecake pudding
  • 2 Cherry Man maraschino cherries cut in half
  • 1 teaspoon of graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of cheesecake pudding
  • a whole maraschino cherry on top!

Serve immediately or refrigerate until served.

These were delicious. My three taste testers (husband and two children) have already asked that I make more.
